Tips for Parents:

Encourage your child to try self-care skills like zipping jackets, buttoning shirts, cleaning up spills, and helping during mealtime.

Give your preschooler lots of active playtime — climbing, running, or simple ball games help build strength and coordination.

Practice washing hands before meals and after play, and remind your child to cover coughs and sneezes with their elbow.
