Partnering with You to Ensure Children's Success in School and in Life

At the Guilford County Partnership for Children (GCPC), we work to ensure that every child in Guilford County enters school safe, healthy, and ready to succeed. As a local nonprofit, we strategically invest over $18 million each year to support young children and their families, from prenatal to age five, through health, early literacy, family support, and enhancing the early childhood education field.

We direct funding from state contracts, along with support from local foundations and private donors, to programs that make a measurable difference in early childhood development. As part of North Carolina’s nationally recognized Smart Start network, we collaborate with partners across the community to strengthen families and improve outcomes for young children through evidence-based models.
