Attention Parents! NC Pre-K Update:
You’re not too late to apply for NC Pre-K! We have lots of sites, private, Headstart and Guilford County Schools that have available spots. Please keep in mind every class uses the same curriculum, has a certified teacher and teacher assistant, the location is for your convenience.
NC Pre-K applications may be mailed to 500 W. Friendly Avenue, Suite #100, Greensboro, NC 27401, dropped off in our drop box at the same address M-F from 8:00am-3:00pm, or you can fill out an online application here. The Guilford County Schools deadline to apply was May 22, 2020.
To fill out the online application you will need a Gmail account to complete this application online. If you don’t have a Gmail account, you may create one or complete a paper application. If you have any questions, please email brendad@guilfordchildren.org. We will also keep families updated as to when we are able to resume screenings. Please email Brenda Mathis at the email above with any questions, or for assistance in completing your child’s application.
We are excited to offer our NC Pre-K families the opportunity to speak one on one with a NC Pre-K Specialist. If you haven’t completed your child’s NC Pre-K application and have questions, we are now available for phone appointments. The days will vary depending on staff schedules. Information can be found here.
We are already offering placement to children in private and Headstart sites. You can still choose a Guilford County School site, but you will be in the second round of placements. Don’t forget you can apply online and never leave your home. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
For regular updates, be sure to check back frequently. You may also follow us on social media @GuilfordKids. Thank you and stay safe.
Thank you for bearing with us. The health and safety of our community is our top priority. Please take care.
